A Few of My Favorite Home Items

in, Home

Although I feel like I’m miles away still from narrowing down my specific home decor style, I feel good about the home decor  we’ve collected over the last 2 years. I love our collection of furniture (mostly from West Elm and Urban Outfitters) and our growing number of prints and office accessories. We’ve been sticking neutral, mid-century vibes with lots of bronze and metals mixed in. I wanted to round up a few of my favorite home items I already have for today’s post and later in the month do a “home items I have on my wish list” post.

Feminine Desk Accessories

I have a white desk so adding bronze and pink accessories just seemed right. We have a fairly neutral style throughout the rest of our home, so my desk space is my own little sanctuary of florals and pink. One of my favorite pieces is this little bronze desk organizer to hold my to-do lists and business cards.

Unique Kitchen Decor

Unique, practical decor for the kitchen? Sign me up! From intriguing cookbooks to copper kettles, I’m slowing starting to amass a collection of items I can’t wait to proudly display in our *one day* non-rental kitchen.

Neutral Planters

If I could fill our home with plants I would. I’m pretty good about keeping green things alive and there’s nothing more satisfying then finding the perfect planter to go with a new little plant friend. I’ve found fun ones at thrift stores and Home Goods, but my favorite might be this white and rattan planter from Anthro.

Unique Prints

Over the last few years, we’ve started assembling a unique collection of prints to hang around the loft. A few of our favorite places to look are:

  • Native Maps
  • Ugmonk
  • Rifle Paper Co
  • West Elm

If I could fill my home with copper I would be the happiest girl on the planet! 🙂
