We've all heard the warnings this year: start your holiday shopping early to get your gifts in on time. Supply chain issues, supply and demand, and slower shipping times are projected to be bad this year. And while I do love shopping for Christmas gifts around Christmastime, my practical side won out and I'm already knee-deep in presents.
So, in order to help you get a jumpstart on your gifting this year, this will be a long post full of helpful suggestions on thoughtful, intentional gifts for your loved ones.

Gifts for Him
Dads, brothers, nephews, grandsons, husbands. Let's face it, they're some of the hardest to shop for. Especially if they give the classic "oh I don't need anything" response to a point blank question.
I think there's quite the misconception that men don't appreciate thoughtful, well-appointed, well-designed items. My husband certainly does and even if they don't admit it, most men can at least pick something out of a lineup that's beautiful and quality - even if they don't think they need it.
So no matter which male of your family or friend group you're buying for, here are some thoughtful gift ideas to help you out as you shop.
Gifts for Her
While women have arguably the largest selection of categories to choose from for gifts, the sheer amount of choices can be overwhelming.
These ten items are a curation of thoughtful, meaningful gifts that can be a standalone present or one of many tucked under the tree.
A few things to keep in mind when shopping for women:
- if she already has a list, better stick to it
- even if a present seems "boring" (for example, a new skillet) if she's asking for it, it won't be boring to her
- bigger doesn't mean better

Sustainable Gifts
I love that these days sustainable gifts are just as fun and quality as other gifts. When looking for sustainable options I love to find brands that have sustainable practices for garment or product creation or products that promote multi-use functions (like reusable utensils instead of plastic).
