Yesterday, I shot out a post on Instagram where I basically admitted my lack of style when it comes to working at home. Y’all, my go-to outfit is not cute, but it is comfy! However, I sometimes have a hard time finding clothing to wear when I have to brave the outside world for meetings, events, or errands, especially in the summer heat when layering is not an option.
A few weeks ago, a brand reached out to me in regards to an Instagram campaign. I had never heard of the brand Brass Clothing before, so I checked out the website and was delighted to see that it wasn’t a cheap, international company looking to promote two-piece sets and $5 bikinis. Instead, I found a beautiful brand based in Boston that takes a minimalistic approach to fashion, producing quality-first pieces designed to fit your lifestyle. They thoughtfully take the guesswork out of getting dressed by filling your closet up with incredible quality basics that can transform into multiple outfits week after week.
I was graciously gifted both the All-Day Tank and the All-Days Pants and the moment I paired them together I knew I had stumbled upon something special. Most of the time I try to shy away from black in the summer but this fabric is quite unlike anything I’ve seen before. It’s smooth, easy, breathable… everything you would want from a summer outfit. Most everyone I talked to assumed this outfit was a jumpsuit and although I do love a good jumpsuit, I love the matching tank and pants feature!
Since shooting these photos I’ve worn both the pants and the tank separately and I’ve gotten equally as many compliments about the pieces when dressed up or down. The black tank looks so good paired with a white skirt or skinny jeans and the roomy pants are sleek and chic with a ruffled tank and long cardigan for those chilly restaurants or offices.
I did take note of the sizing guide to make sure I didn’t have to do a size swap. I went with the XS and I’m glad I did. I wouldn’t size down if I were you, but do take note of the measurements for each size and go with what matches your body.
Brass Clothing makes wardrobe staples in tops, bottoms, and pants and even provides “Kits” to help streamline your shopping process and your wardrobe.
PS: This post is not sponsored by Brass Clothing, but I loved their products enough that I wanted to share the brand with you!
