Spring has gradually turned to summer and by the time travel is wrapped up over the next few weeks and we're back home for a bit, the 80 degree temps will be here to stay.
So, in preparation for the heat that will last until September, I'm looking for light layers, easy outfit pieces and soft fabrics that will work in so many situations and temperatures.
In partnership with Everlane I'm happy to share some of their new styles that just launched on their site and this round of styles are my favorite yet!
- Stripe Shirt
- Black Cardigan
- Sandals
- Denim Shorts

An easy outfit that still looks put together I love the cropped collared shirt with denim because you don't have as much bulk to the shirt to tuck in or try and hide. In the summer, it's helpful to have less material – and that doesn't always mean that you have to show lots of skin - sometimes all you need to do is find a light cotton shirt that's cropped but paired with a high waisted bottom it's the perfect length for summer.
And if you don't have a pair of leather tennis shoes, I would highly recommend. I have two pairs now, one from Sezane and this pair from Everlane and beside my Birkenstocks I wear them consistently in the summer.
Everlane's Best Cardigan
While none of the other pieces in this outfit are from Everlane, that's ok because the star of the show and the new highlight of my spring/summer wardrobe is this deliciously soft, well-fitting knit cardigan from Everlane.
It's their new Rib Knit Cardigan that's surpassed all my expectations. It currently comes in Black, Sky, and Moss and is exceptionally flattering with any type of outfit.

It adds an instant polish that I'm often lacking when I'm working from home or running errands out and about.
