Although I love every part of the holiday season, one of my favorite activities is the wrapping and giving of Christmas gifts. I could do without the shopping part most days, but maybe that’s just because it’s a week before Christmas and I’m still trying to find presents for people. (Fingers crossed I’m better prepared next year.) With the explosion of Pinterest, crafts blogs, and DIY ideas, gift wrapping is now more of an art form than something just covering the gifts.
I’ve prepared some of my favorite ideas for traditional and non-traditional Christmas gift wrapping ideas. I’ve mostly gone for the non-traditional (brown paper and greenery) in past years – although I can’t resist a lovely gold and white or red present.
1. The Traditional Gift
If you’re going a traditional route, adding sparkle to mix is always good idea. There’s nothing quite like seeing a sparkling gift under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.
2. Subtle Color
3. Classic Greenery
Switch it up a little with some printable images and branches.
Pine and plaid is always a good idea!
4. White and Gold
When in doubt, go for the gold!
