I have been anticipating the holiday book season so much that I started early - like a month ago dipping my toe into the rom-com festive books. There are so many cute and festive books on the market that I wanted to share a whole post dedicated to the ones I've loved and also ones I still need to read. If you're looking for easy holiday reads keep reading for an overview of each!
In a Holidaze
I didn't know what to expect reading this book. It's a bit of a groundhog's day situation and I typically dislike stories like that. They make me feel.. dizzy?
But after I overcame the initial annoyance of the pacing it really was a cute story.
I'd give it a 3.5/5 stars. Higher if the repeating storyline wasn't the theme of the book.
The Matzah Ball
We are in the perfect time of the year for Hanukkah books and this one takes the cake (or the cookie) for the cutest one I've ever read.
It's so festive has a darling love story that's not overly cheesy or trite. I love that the main character has some life struggles outside the relationship and she seems like a real person through it all.

The Royal Holiday
This was my first Jasmine Guillory book (I just finished The Wedding Date too!) and I loved her writing style.
It felt very down-to-earth for a rom-com book and the setting was absolutely perfect! I also loved that the main characters weren't in their early 20s and trying to find themselves.

The Twelve Dates of Christmas
I have yet to read this book but is next on my list once I finish Paris is Always a Good Idea (so cute BTW!)
I'll keep you posted on my thoughts on this book but I'm anticipating it to be just delightful.
Love Lettering
So the final two books are not technically Christmas or holiday books, but I loved them too much not to share in this roundup!
Love Lettering by Kate Clayborn is a sweet, unexpected love story set in New York. It follows the story of a illustrator working on growing her business and portrays a lot of real life moments that I appreciated.
4.5/ 5 stars
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by MinaLima Designs
I dare you to try and argue with me that Harry Potter is not a series of Christmas books. We have the entire classic HP series but every year the illustration team behind the movie props have been releasing their fully designed versions of the book.
Book 1 and 2 have been released and are just the most beautiful and fun books! They would also make a beautiful Christmas present!
