It all started with a Zimmerman dress. Doesn't it always?
Never once in my adult life have I ever been inspired by Resort Wear - specially colorful, patterned dresses. You know me, I'm all about the natural, the simple, the classic. But this year, for some reason, I'm feeling a pull toward color? Tasteful color. Specially designer dresses with incredible silhouettes and beautiful fabrics like linen and silk.
Perhaps I've also been subtly influenced by another Emily - one who prances around Paris.
I wanted to share a quick post about the 2023 Resort Wear that has caught my eye – and yes, I do acknowledge most of these pieces are designer and well above my monthly clothing budget, but a girl can dream. Perhaps this will be the year of a bit of color revival for Spring/Summer '23.
