I know Thanksgiving is here and November is almost gone, but I would be remiss if I didn’t do a recap post about my November Birchbox. If you don’t know what Birchbox is then scoot over to their site and check it out. I’ve been subscribed to their monthly boxes for a while now and every time they arrive at my door it’s like Christmas in a small, well-designed box (that I use for gifting other people’s presents.)
This month’s box was perfect for kicking off the holiday season. I’m not the biggest rose gold fan, but the detail on the front of the box really sets it apart.
I haven’t used this product yet, but the reviews online make me think it’s a favorite among beauty product gurus. Perfect Ending by eSalon is a leave-in conditioner designed to make hair soft and slowly repair any damage you may have. The sample is a good size so I’m excited to get to use this product 3-4 times before I make my yes or no decision on it.
This product is a delicious smelling salt scrub by the brand sumbody. I’ve used it a couple times now and the smell is worth every penny you would spend on it. I prefer light, clean scents in shower products and this one smells slightly of vanilla, basically making it a win on my list! Also, the salt in the product is pulverized into very small pieces so it’s less like scraping stones on your body and more like a face exfoliator.
The product on the left is a product I’ve never used before– an eyeshadow stick. Going on much like a chapstick this product lasts for hours and doesn’t get clumpy. I was afraid it would be a heavy product, but much like typical eyeshadow, it has a weightless feel and excellent coverage. The product on the right is a small perfume sample. Typically I’m not overly thrilled when I receive a perfume sample in my box, but this was a home run with a light, floral smell perfect for taking on a tropical vacation!
