Pink for Spring

Pink Dress | Shoes

I don’t always gravitate towards pink in my clothing. For sure not bright pink, but I’m starting to consider blush as a neutral – thoughts?

A couple months ago (whoa!) now we were in Charleston shooting content on the picturesque streets and I had packed this dress as a just in case outfit for shooting. It’s a linen-blend maxi with functional buttons down the front and a laid-back meets Southern chic vibe.

We had a minute or two in one of days so I threw the dress on with my walking shoes – Keds of course – and I actually liked how the look turned out. I have no idea how other bloggers plan their outfits, but my style is more like “throw it on and make it work”  a la this look.

That day in Charleston ended up being in the 80s and for March that’s even warm for South Carolina. So at the end of the day I was grateful for an easy breezy dress instead of the jeans I had packed.

Before a previous Amazon order, I had never heard of the designer of this dress but I’m actually a little bit obsessed with her designs now.

Like I said, this dress was linen and the construction is beautiful. Between the buttons and the unique sleeves, this dress is a winner for me. Although I haven’t bought anything else *yet* some of her other styles are beautiful!

This jumpsuit has the exact same material as the dress – win – and if I could only buy one more top in my lifetime it may just be this one.

Some other favorites from the Rachel Pally collection include this white linen dress, this gauze top , this linen dress, and this pocket tank.
