First Impressions
Let's just say "good" doesn't quite cover it. I was so lucky to have my pick of shoes on the site and I knew right away the Grear sandals in Saddle Vachetta were the shoes for me.
I work from home, rarely wear heels, and our summer months are brutal so the more comfortable sandals I own the better. Also, the fact that these are often worn by Megan Markle was a huge win in my book.
The shoes were delivered so quickly – within a few days of placing the order – and the unboxing was a delightful experience.

With each order you'll receive a beautifully packaged box with a card indicating the artisan who crafted the shoe and a guide to wearing them. Each shoe comes with a beautiful dust bag so you can keep them protected for years to come.
For the Grear sandals in particular, the quality of the leather, the fastenings, straps, ties, and soles were exactly what I expected from a luxury shoe. In a word, impeccable.
From the moment I slid them on my feet I instantly appreciated that the tie straps of the sandals were a soft fabric instead of leather which made them instantly comfortable.
On Sizing, Comfort, and Fit
Sizing & Fit : Like I mentioned earlier, the Sarah Flint shoes come in European sizes but their website has a handy conversion chart in case you don't know your size off the top of your head.
The Grear sandals only come in half sizes in a few sizes (I'm sure it's because those are much more commonly purchased) so I went with my normal whole size ( US 6 | IT 36 ) and the sandals are a perfect fit.
Obviously there's much more leeway for sizing with sandals so I can't speak about their other shoes, but I'm sure they work hard to keep a consistency in sizing across their product lines.
Comfort: My feet don't like new shoes. I get blisters just looking at new flats but I swear I could walk all day in the Grear sandals. The fabric tie back strap makes them incredibly comfortable and once the soles break in a bit I know for a fact they will be the most comfortable sandals I own.

As a woman who is turning 30 year, I pride myself on knowing quality pieces when I see them. It's why I've gotten rid of so much of my closet over the last 2 years and why I keep investing in pieces from Sezane, Levis, etc.
In my opinion, if you're looking for a timeless shoe (no matter the style) Sarah Flint is the place to look. They even have bridal appropriate shoes if you're looking for a special occasion shoe.
