Some Pretty Picks: Edition 01

in, Some Pretty Picks

Happy Friday. I wanted to reinstate Some Pretty Picks this year and do a better job of sharing them on Instagram Stories. Although they’re most “least read” posts on the blog, I’ve found I like collecting and sharing the things that are inspiring me lately.  Feel free to share any thoughts on how you want this series to look on the blog! I’m open to all suggestions.

01 | My Christmas Present

I just have to brag on my husband for a moment. Not only is he extremely thoughtful but his sense of style is impeccable – far better than mine.

For the last 3 years, one of my Christmas presents has been a piece from my all-time favorite brand – Sezane.

This year we scaled back Christmas so we only did one present for each other. Christmas morning he presented me with this dress. It’s perfect.

If you’re looking for a little black dress that will last you for your whole life this is the dress for you.

02 | A Dreamy Piece of Tech

I don’t often think about technology beyond its utilitarian purpose, but I honestly love our big tech purchase this year – the Samsung Frame TV.

It’s a piece of art hung on our wall. Essentially it’s a TV that doesn’t look like a TV and that’s the only way that I’ll ever do it again.

We have the 49″ hanging in our living room and it’s perfect.

03 | On the Blog Recently

I shared my vision for 2020 in my first Letter from the Editor post.

I also shared a full review of my favorite accessory that’s much better for your health than high heels.

04. A Few Bits of Inspo

On the Stove: This recipe by Half Baked Harvest is a winner every single time.

In the Shops: Although I haven’t gotten it in yet, I added to my sweater collection with this lovely grey pullover.

Around my House: My Vitruvi diffuser has gotten a workout and I couldn’t love it more.

Recently Pinned: All the Ireland, Scotland, and England travel guides I can find!
