Winding Down Routine

I’m not much of a coffee drinker anymore. Shocking, I know. But if I’m honest, straight coffee and I haven’t really ever gotten along. I actually didn’t have my first cup until college and every now and again it’s fine, but my go-to coffee shop drink is a chai latte and my go-to home drink is actually tea.

My routine typically consists of a black tea with milk in the morning (a combo I discovered in England and I love it!), an occasional cup of coffee in the afternoon when the slumps hit hard, and then another cup of herbal tea at night to help me unwind. It’s a drinking pattern I don’t take lightly and am always on the hunt for unique teas to test. Because of this sponsored campaign, I was introduced to a tea brand at WalMart that I had yet to try but am now so glad it’s in my life. Pukka Tea is a 100% organic herbal tea (perfect for my evening routine) with several different flavors and benefits. I decided to go for both the Night Time and the Relax tea because with the holidays coming up I know I’ll need to find creative ways to relax.

I was so happy to try them out after reading the many benefits of the brand. For starters, they’re 100% organic and filled with a serious amount of goodness. The Pukka brand has 7 different families of tea – energy, digestive, turmeric, cleansing, immunity, relax, and women’s. I went with both teas from the Relax line because those are typically the flavors I like the most in an herbal tea. And let me tell you, these teas are delicious! Sometimes, herbal teas can taste like grass. I’ve had my fair share of grassy teas but the blend of flavors in the both the Night Time and Relax tea are just beautiful.

The Pukka Tea line is sold at Wal Mart as well, so it’s convenient to pick up if you run out of your favorite flavor. Because of the upcoming holidays, it’s been increasingly harder to find time to shoot, so we took these photos on my parent’s front porch after helping some family members move. I wasn’t expecting to be quite so relaxed while doing a shoot, but as soon as I started sipping the tea, I could feel my mind and body let go of some of the stress.

If you’re not in the habit of drinking tea, this season is the perfect time to try it. Even as I type this I’m making myself another thermos full because Greenville is 40 degrees and raining and warming up from the inside out is the definition of an ideal Monday afternoon.

Currently, you can earn $1.50 cash back from the Ibotta app if you purchase any one Pukka Tea flavor. Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever tried this brand or if you have any questions about the benefits before purchasing!
