Recreating Six Pinterest Aesthetic Outfits

I have been a lover of Pinterest since the platform first came out. It's a source of daily inspiration and connection for me and over the past few years I've cultivated a selection of images and ideas that still inspire me. From style to recipes, gardening tips to reading groups, I'm on Pinterest the most throughout the week out of all my social channels.

Today's blog post is a bit different, but likely not a foreign topic to you. I wanted to challenge myself to recreate some of the most common Pinterest style images I see on my feed with items in my own wardrobe. Challenges like this are amazing if you find yourself stuck in a fashion rut, uninspired by wardrobe, or just don't know what to wear. This is, of course, geared towards petite women, but that doesn't mean your height precludes you from drawing inspiration from this post!

If a look inspires you, before you shop via my affiliate links, pop over to your own closet and see if there are any pieces lurking in the shadows that may fit the bill. After all, for this post and YouTube video I didn't go out and buy any new pieces, I simply used what I already owned and magically created seven new looks out of the pieces.

But if you are looking to shop, the links below are affiliate links and I make a small commission off of them at no additional cost to you.

Six Pinterest Aesthetic Outfits for Petites

It's working girl but with just a subtle 80s nods. This outfit was an easy one to pull together with the Everlane Cloud Cardigan that's cropped and puffed and the incredible versatile Sloane Tailored Trousers from Abercrombie in the Short length to be petite friendly.

This is the perfect winter to spring workwear look that's polished enough to be versatile but comfortable enough to wear all day long.

Spring Inspired Aesthetic Pinterest Outfit #2

Inspired by naturals, this outfit errs on the 60 degree+ weather but you could add a cream knit if you wanted to make it more February appropriate. I paired loafer-styled mules with the look but boots or sandals work as well. Again the petite-friendly trousers from Abercrombie shine here with their perfect ankle-grazing length. Ladies above 5'4", their regular length would work nicely on you.

Cozy and comfy but still elevated, this look combines my favorite skirt with an oversized knit for an easy to assemble classic look that won't ever go out of style. Pair with boots in the winter and heeled sandals in the spring.

Causal, cool and collected is the name of this outfit. It pairs so many things I love together - Birkenstocks, white denim, my AirPod Max headphones, into an easy-to-wear outfit that can be restyled countless ways.

An outfit that only Pinterest convinced me to wear and now I know it's a vibe. My first pair of straight leg 90s denim and I'm fully convinced they are the cool girl pants for spring and summer. An oversized sweatshirt and birks or uggs makes this outfit go frumpy to chic. Find me in this for the rest of denim season.

The uniform of the "it girl" lifestyle we see all over Pinterest, this outfit gets a resounding 10/10 for me in terms of style, comfort, and versatility. Wear it with whatever your denim preference is, but I personally think cropped straight leg denim is a whole vibe here.
